DIVA ENTERTAINMENTS and Club Asia Radio, in association with Channel Punjab and Honey Kalaria, Bollywood Ambassador to the UK, have announced the Semi-Finalists for the highly anticipated Bollywoood Dance Championships [BDC] which will take place in July this year. Over 300 competitors participated in fiercely fought out heats, which took place across East, North, South London and Leicester. One remaining semi-final place is yet to be decided and will be voted for by viewers from across the globe, online at www.bollywood.tv. Top prizes on offer include flying the overall winner to India to meet Bollywood stars and visit film studios in Mumbai, an exclusive modelling contract and up to one year’s free training at Honeys Dance Academy.
Semi-finalists include Chaos; Angels and Pallavi Sonia from East London; Puja and Kusal Ramnarain;
The Rajani Sisters and Reflections from South London with Pratibimb; Chandi Siani and Asha
Modha ;Sliik Aziaanz; Bhavita Punja and Kavita Shah from North London; Shiv Makadia and Rushil Ondhia from Leicester.
Honey Kalaria says: “My vision is to entertain, educate and inform people about Indian Art and Culture, build Intercultural Relations across the globe and develop opportunities for others using the world of Bollywood as a vehicle. This project seemed like an ideal way of getting the community involved, develop career paths for individuals and do what I love doing!”
