Zee Cine awards make a splash in London Bollywood mega star Shah Rukh Khan recently won the Best Actor award at the Zee Cine Awards 2008. Taking place in London, the awards show saw the most famous Bollywood stars attend to receive their awards, with not only Khan in attendance but also Kareena Kapoor, who walked away with a Best Actress award for her part in Jab We Met. Khan’s best actor win was for his part in Chak De India, where he played a former Indian National Hockey player who returns to his home country to coach the Women’s Hockey Team. In addition to Khan’s award, the film won for best film. The show, which will be broadcast on Zee TV 18 May at 7 pm, will see engaging dance routines from Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan among others.
The audience are treated to some in-show entertainment.
